Cancun Family Vacation in September!!

Last week we packed our suitcases and loaded up the girls and drove to Dallas so we could catch our flight out to Cancun, Mexico!!  We stayed at the Royal Solaris and it ended up being a good pick for us.  They had a mini kids club with a great pool area.  Amelia loved it and we spend a lot of time in the kids pool!

we woke up each morning about 8am and would go down and have breakfast and then head straight to the pool.  We ate lunch out by the pool everyday and Autumn took her naps out there too. After Autumn's nap we would head down to the beach for a few hours then finish up at the pool before heading back into the hotel. We didn't come back into the room until about 5pm each day to wash up and get ready for dinner.

One morning we went straight to the beach and saw some of the hotel employees digging up turtle eggs that a sea turtle had left the night before.  We went over to catch a peek and we got a great surprise with getting to hold sea turtles that had hatched earlier that morning!!!!   That evening at 8pm we got to release them into the ocean!  Amelia named her little turtle Mikey!  Mikey made into the ocean safely and I hope he his brothers and sisters are enjoying sea life!
