On Sunday, September 1 we packed our bags and loaded up the girls and went to California!
We flew into San Diego so we could take the girls to the San Diego Zoo!! We had so much fun. The Zoo is Huge so we walked a ton.. We stayed at the Sea World Hampton inn so the trolley/SDMTS station was only half a mile away. So we walked to the trolley station from our hotel and from the trolley station we decided we would walk to the zoo Since Google map said it was only 1.6 miles away.. No big deal right? But, Google maps didn't mention it was 1.6 miles uphill!!
Abel decided to take his shirt off so he wouldn't be complete drenched in sweat when we got to the Zoo!
We Made it!!
We originally had planned on going to Sea World, but one of our friends had gone a month before and said it was pretty similar to the one in San Antonio so we decided since we have been ro the San Antonio Sea World at least once a month this past year we would skip and go to Coronado beach!
It was a great choice!! We took the ferry and Amelia and Autumn Loved it!!
They both loved playing in the sand! It was so hot outside that the water felt great. Abel and I went to San Diego the summer of 2007 and it was freezing. I had pack one sweater and one pair of jeans and I used those the entire time!! So this time while I was packing I was prepared for it to be cold by the water.. Boy!! Was I wrong.. It was HOT HOT!!
We got a few Family pictures!! I met a sweet lady and she volunteered to take a picture of us and she went picture happy and snapped some of us trying to wrestle the girls to get a good picture pose.. Which is impossible with these two girls!!
Wednesday September 4.
We packed up and loaded up on the Amtrak to take us to Anaheim. We used Wednesday as a travel/ rest day so
we just walked around Downtown Disney and had Dinner at the ESPN Center.
We had originally planned on going to Disneyland on Thursday
but once we got there we realized they had changed their park hours so we
were going to miss the firework show. There was no way We were going to go to
Disneyland and miss the Firework show!! Amelia absolutely loved the firework
show last summer and she had accidently deleted the video we got of it so we
had to replace her Firework show!! HAHA So we decided to go to California Adventure
on Thursday and Disneyland on Friday! I
am really glad we went to California Adventure the shows were great and there
was so much for little ones!!
After the Toy Story Ride Amelia asked if she could have Jessie!! We are pretty lucky parents! Amelia Loves to go to the toy section Just Look at every store! She never wants to bring a toy home! So we let Amelia get Jessie as her California Adventure souvenir!
Friday morning we woke up and walked to Disneyland! We go there about 10 minutes after they opened and stayed the whole day! We left after the Firework show which started at 9:30pm!!

The girls were wore out.. Autumn had to kick up her foot! HAHA
It was a blast and I am so happy that we were able to bring the girls! It is much so fun getting to watch the expressions on their sweet little face's! Amelia really enjoyed it this year since she is a big Disney channel watcher!! Autumn really didn't know what was going on but she loved all the colors and noises and even learned to clap at the shows. Once she figured it out she just kept clapping nonstop through out the shows it was the cutest thing ever!!
On Saturday, Our Friends Adrian and Priscilla and their baby Dillon picked us up for the weekend. We went to the USC/ Washington State Game!
